Through all of September, despite the curveball we got, we have stayed busy. My goal as I have said was to minimize the impact my illness has on our sweet three. To do so we have been blessed with help in the form of meals as well as help from my parents.
Wyatt completed his belt testing for karate and advanced again. We are so proud. We love Conrad Jones Karate not only for the skill and exercise Wyatt is getting, but the main messages he teaches the students of respect, self control, perseverance, and manners.
Walker has taught Lillian how to wield a sword like a pirate pro!
Yet, she is still so girly loving on her sweet baby doll.
We had started a landscaping project prior to my diagnosis and surgery, and we needed to wrap that up. We had large, overgrown bushes of different varieties that we pulled out. For several weeks our front yard looked bare. I finally felt up to going to the store to pick out plants. It doesn't look like much, but trust me, it's MUCH better. The pansies have perked up and the azaleas should bloom. Hopefully come spring it will look more lush and we can fill in where needed.
The boys have continued with their ball games, Matt has continued with his football announcing on Friday nights with my parents coming to help, and Lillian is growing and playing along the way. We are living and loving it.
