What a week!!

Whew!  What a week it has been for us!!  Starting the week was another lost tooth for Walker and tooth fairy visit.  This kid leaves a serious hole in his head when he loses a tooth!

Monday I headed in to my OB for my 35 wk check.  I had had horrible night with only an hour of sleep due to ongoing contractions.  Unfortunately, none of the contractions stayed constant enough or changed my cervix, so more waiting it is.  In an effort to ease my frustration and help me relax and pamper myself I headed to get a much needed pedicure after the doctors appointment. 

Tuesday brought a snow day with beautiful snow.  I wasn't feeling well at all that day due to waking up with a sore cheek and small dental abscess.

Wednesday was worse.  I didn't get any sleep due to my sore cheek and a bunch of contractions.  I called the dentist as soon as the office opened and scheduled an appointment.  A few minutes later I started having hard and intense contractions so we called for reinforcement from Grammie and headed to the OB.  There I was monitored for awhile.  Sure enough I was having contractions but again they weren't strong enough to cause cervical changes so she cleared me to head on to the dentist for evaluation.  At the dentist, she took a quick xray and came back in after talking with the oral surgeon and sent me over there.  Apparently the abscess was quite significant so Matt took me to the oral surgeon where I then had to have the tooth pulled and the abscess drained and irrigated.  For real!!  I was OVER this day.

Thursday was much better.  I had gotten instant relief once the tooth was gone so I spent the day resting as I sure needed it.  

This big guy just keeps amazing me with how fast he is growing up!!

Friday I got up and out because quite frankly I am OVER bedrest and READY to have sweet Madeline come!  I went to the boys Valentine's parties at school.  It was great fun!

This sweet little snuggle bunny keeps me company when contractions are getting the best of me and I need a little more rest.  She is the sweetest little shadow for sure!!

I'm BEYOND ready to have sweet Madeline come into the world but clearly she is on her own timeline.  So we wait, and wait, and wait.  We'll keep you posted.
