Busy as usual, Elf Antics and more!

We have been busy as per the usual this past week.  The elves have been up to some fun this week which the kids have certainly enjoyed.  Monday they had some fun crazy straw shenanigans happenings which the boys were happy to join in with.
Monday night the boys went rock climbing with Cub Scouts.  Even Walker was able to have fun despite a casted arm.
Tuesday our elves left us our annual Christmas ornament.  This is one of my favorite traditions.
Wednesday the kids searched and searched the house looking for the elves.  They finally found them in each of their bathrooms enjoying a balloon filled bath.
Thursday brought some football fun!
These sweet girls are fun trying to get pictures of in their matching outfits.  Madeline is not too excited about sitting still.  Ha!
Friday, the elves were just a swinging away in the kitchen.
Friday was a big day for Walker as we headed off to get his arm checked out.  His arm is healed well enough that he was able to get the cast off for good!! YAY!!  He was so excited!
Saturday morning we woke up to find the elves had made a cute little gingerbread house for themselves and left us a few to do too!
I was able to finish off the cute fleece capes for the girls to wear this winter so they can be warm, yet safe in their carseats.  They look like little red riding hoods in pink and purple.
Unfortunately our entire weekend has been consumed with this sick girl who has been running fevers since Friday.  She has needed a lot of snuggle time and extra TLC.
This morning the elves had decorated the windows with snowflakes and bonus, there were even real ones on the ground outside too!!
Since our Saturday was consumed with a sick baby and Matt working on my car, we saved decorating the gingerbread houses until this morning.  The kids had fun while Madeline and I looked on.
Their masterpieces!!
Finally, here is our Christmas card this year.  Love this sweet family of mine!!
I can't believe Christmas is ONE WEEK AWAY!!  YAY!  Two and a half more days of school, a little brain training, class parties, Star Wars movie and a Predators game will fill up this week leading into Christmas!  Fun fun fun!!
