The Holiday Season is Here!

Life with kids is busy whether you have one or four.  Add the holiday season into the mix and life gets to moving at warp speed!  WOW!!  Here's a little recap of our busy week.
Our Walker had one last week of the bright orange long arm cast.  He has handled this season quite well.  In fact, it hasn't slowed him down much at all.
Monday we had our ENT appointment to set up for Madeline to get ear tubes.  She still has an ear infection, so we started a new antibiotic in hopes to clear everything up before surgery.  After that appointment we headed onto Madeline's 9 month check up.  She is weighing in at 21 lbs 7 ounces and is 29 inches long!!  90th percentile, proportional and PERFECT!!  YAY!
Our Wyatt is the most amazing big brother to all three of his younger siblings.  He is helpful and quite responsible for his age in so many ways!!
Brain training continues to be a huge part of our week with Wyatt going three days a week, Walker going two days a week and then also doing one hour of training at home.
On Thursday our elves arrived via hot air balloon!  The kids have been asking and asking when they would be coming and counting down the days to December 1st.
The elves also delivered special pjs for all the kids too!
These fab four are the CUTEST in their new Christmas pjs!
On Friday, the kids awoke to a message from the elves about making good choices and a bit of a silly string mess in the bathroom downstairs.  They were so excited to tell me all about the elf mischief.
Friday morning was Walker's follow up appointment when they took off the orange cast and x-rayed the arm to see how things are healing.  So far new bone is forming well but it's not completely healed which is expected, so we opted for the short arm cast for two more weeks to allow things to be safe while the bones continue to heal.
Walker is so proud of his red and glow and the dark candy cane short arm cast!
Saturday morning the elves left the kids a little assignment to plant some special seeds. They excitedly pressed them in the "dirt" before heading off to bed.
Saturday, the big kids went to the Lowe's Build and Grow Workshop where the got to make the cutest little ornaments.
Madeline got some cute, sparkling shoes!  She is loving them too!
This morning the kids awoke to see what the elves had grown overnight!  Yummy!!  They are some delicious Christmas trees!  Ta Da!!
Stay tuned!  We have another busy week ahead of us with elf antics, Cub Scouts, school, work, brain training, doctors appointments and Madeline's surgery.
