So, I decided I would post a midweek update to tell a few more stories of our lil' man's craziness. Tuesday night after we finished dinner, Matt handed Wyatt his plate to take to the kitchen. (We are attempting to teach him about doing his part within the household. . . Hard at this age, but worth starting.) Anyway, so Wyatt carefully carries his plate to the sink, drops it into the waiting soapy water and comes back for more. Matt hands him the tongs and Wyatt is off to the kitchen, but this time he didn't come back. . .instead we hear him scooting something across the floor. I soon realized this must be his stool so. . . I peeked around the door and here is what I saw.

Wow, this lesson in doing his part to clean up around the house took SOO well, huh? Look at this sweet angel washing the dishes, at the age of 2 1/2!!!! Aren't you impressed?

HA HA HA!!!! If you bought that for one minute, you have never experienced a 2 1/2 year old! Of course he is "helping" wash the dishes. It means he gets to splash in the water and make ONE BIG WET MESS!!!! Wahoo Wyatt!

Below are a few more pics of Wyatt from Wednesday. It was my day off so I took Wyatt to preschool. During the ride there are a few times when the sun is directly in his eyes and he HATES it! He asked so politely, "Mommy, please block the sun." Since I am driving and just slightly occupied doing so, I handed him is oh so cool shades. Check him out. He is just too cool for words.

To round out the day yesterday, I took Wyatt for his post-op follow up to see how is hearing was after getting tubes and make sure everything looked good with his tubes. He was PERFECT (hard to believe with his age) during his hearing test. He is such a big boy! I had a treat for him if he was cooperative, and like I said he was PERFECT! So out came the mini slinky! He loved sitting and playing with his new slinky while waiting to go back to see Dr. Goudy. Everything is great with his tubes and his hearing is wonderful! Now he has NO excuses when he fails to do what he is told because I know he can hear me. ;)

The weather is warming up around here and should be in the 70's by the weekend. So, I hope to have some fun outdoor pics with Wyatt to post soon! Stay tuned!
