Fun Filled Busy Weekend

This weekend was quite busy for us despite the rainy cold weather. On Saturday we traveled to Clarksville with Grammie to visit with Grand before heading to cousin Anna's birthday party. We spent the morning playing with Grand. We went to lunch at McDonalds where Wyatt played hard on the the playgym while we had a chance to visit. After a nap, we were off to the party.

We traveled out to Anna's Grandmother's house for the birthday party. Anna is two months older than Wyatt so it is huge reminder of how fast my baby is growing up and going to be 3 soon. Anna's party was a Lightning McQueen party which Wyatt loves. Her cake was so cute. Wyatt waited to patiently as the adults got everything together to light the candle & cut the cake. As soon as he got his piece he dug into that icing. He loves icing. Mmmm, SUGAR!

After cake, they brought out the Lightning McQueen pinata. The kids had the best time beating the pinata until it was decided to pull the strings and get some CANDY! Wyatt kept picking out just one kind of candy & bringing it to me for safe keeping. We had fun celebrating. Happy Birthday Anna!

Hitting something & not get in trouble. Oh yeah! Even better with a broom handle!

Finally to round out our weekend we took Wyatt to a new pizza restaurant for a pizza fix that I have been denying the boys due to not wanting greasy pizza. However, we had some yummy pizza. Wyatt has been eating like a champ this weekend, which makes me wonder if he is about to go through another growth spurt. It will be interesting to see how he measures up in about 2 months. I'm sure it will still be tall & skinny mini! Wyatt had several pieces of pizza before heading over to shoot some guns at one of the games the restaurant had.

Wyatt shooting the deer! Armed & dangerous!

We hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather was no fun around here, and we were safe from any tornados. We have one more week until some spring break and we are looking forward to some more family fun. Hopefully the weather will warm up this week so we can get back outside.
