Oh the Silly Tales of Wyatt

These past few weeks have been rather uneventful at the Hill household. We have just had fun watching the silly amusement that is our precious Wyatt. Boy, the things he says & does just crack us up! For instance, we went out to dinner Tuesday night and while we were waiting for Matt to come meet us, Wyatt stood up in the booth announcing he was a Space Ranger, pretended to press some buttons on his shirt, lifted his arm high into the air and said, “To infinity and beyond.” It was a crack up.(Ya think we might of watched Toy Story a few times?) Of course I had to laugh as did the couple sitting the next booth over. So, needless to say he kept it up most of dinner. The nice part was getting him to eat, sit, listen to mommy, well, that’s what space rangers do, so if he really wants to be a space ranger. . . all in all he really was quite a great listener that evening. Too funny!

Other things this funny little monkey of mine is into. . .1) putting bendable straws together to make the longest, funkest looking straw to drink from his juice box, 2) turning a saltine cracker into a "Pow Pow", 3) dancing around the house to Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" and asking it to be played over & over again, and the list goes on and on. Can you see how much laughter Wyatt brings to our household?! What a gift!

Check out this funktastic straw crafted by Wyatt!

Here's Wyatt with his saltine cracker "Pow Pow" taking out his Daddy.

To round out our fun for this particular weekend, we woke up to snow. Yes, you heard me. Snow! Finally! We have been wanting to have some snow around here for Wyatt to play in and this morning we had just a little bit. Some places got a ton, but us. . . just a bit. Wyatt had fun running around listening to the crunching of snow beneath his galoshes. Daddy showered him a time or two with the snow as he scraped our windshields before church. Wyatt of course did not want to wear his gloves and was reluctant to put on his oh-too-cute hat, go figure. Two years old wishing he ruled the world, what?!! Can anyone tell? Anyway, we still had fun.

And finally, this weeked we made a quick visit to see Grammie, Papa and Uncle Greg. Wyatt just loves showing off for people who adore him the most. He had a blast running around, playing catch, "Grrr-ing" at Uncle Greg to get a reaction, and loving a little tickling. What fun!

Here's Wyatt playing catch & getting some tickles after "Grr-ing" his Uncle Greg.

Well, now we are looking forward to spring. We are ready to get back outside. We have missed going to the park, playing in the sandbox, and kicking the soccer ball around. So, bring on some warmer weather! We hope everyone had a blessed and wonderful weekend! Everyday we are so thankful for our precious boy. He is just a ham and joy in our lives and we enjoy sharing it with you all!
