Spring Break Weekend

This week starts Matt’s spring break which is a welcomed break! J The weather has been GORGEOUS allowing us to have some fun enjoying the spring weather. Matt worked hard yesterday cleaning up the yard. We had some yucky weather this past week which made the grass grow way to fast and lots of tree limbs scattered throughout the yard by the wind and the rain, so he cleaned it all up.

Saturday afternoon we took Wyatt to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. He wasn’t too thrilled about wearing the glasses but after some coaxing he put them on. It was funny to watch him raise and lower the glasses to check out the with and without effects. He decided with glasses was the way to go for most of the movie. What a fun experience. We are looking forward to Disney’s “UP” coming out in May. Wyatt loved all those balloons.

Today we were off to church for some Palm Sunday fun. I made Wyatt a new t-shirt with a faux tie appliquéd on. It is too cute. We got several compliments on it. Once we got home from lunch I wanted to get some pics of Wyatt in our pretty violets that are all over our backyard before Daddy mows them down. They are everywhere and so pretty. Wyatt sat rather well allowing me to get some cute shots. He was picking the violets and blowing on them as if they were dandelions. It was quite funny.

This afternoon we went over to Grammie & Papa’s house for a little easter egg hunt. Wyatt was so cute searching high & low for eggs. He had the best time counting his loot when he was all done. We spent awhile playing with Grammie & Papa. Wyatt has so much fun with them. He loves being Papa’s little helper too. Papa was working on a leaking in Grammie’s tire and Wyatt was quite eager to help, especially with the air compressor. He loved trying to get a reaction as he shot us with his air gun. So much fun.

We are headed to Chattanooga tomorrow for a fun day, so check back in soon for more pics from our adventures this coming week. It should be fun!
