A Day with Mommy

Tuesday was Wyatt's day out with Mommy! Yeah! We don't get to do this often, but I am trying to start a habit of it, so once Walker is here Wyatt and I have a standing "Mommy & Wyatt" date. Our fun on this day included two appointments. First up, the dentist visit. Wyatt loves his dentist office due to the fun toys, riding animals, and video games to play. We got there early just so Wyatt would have time to play.
Here is Wyatt enjoying the riding toys.
Wyatt did excellent getting his teeth brushed and flossed by the hygentist as well as letting Dr. Snodgrass take a look. We got a fabulous report of healthy teeth. Yeah! Next time we go back Wyatt will get to have special pictures taken of this teeth (xrays) as well as cleaning with the spinning brush!
Here is Wyatt pointing to the TV in the ceiling before getting his teeth cleaned.

Wyatt did so well! He carefully choose his prize afterwards decided between the ball or the pinwheel. The pinwheel won!

Wyatt so happy after the dentist. Our next appointment wasn't until the afternoon, so Wyatt and I ran around shopping for a bit. A day out with Mommy just wouldn't be right unless it included a trip to Target. Wyatt was a super help in Target, so I let him pick out a toy. He has been wanting the Toy Story toys for awhile. (He has even placed it in the cart a time or two during different trips to Target.) I said he could have it today since he was so good at the dentist and with the promise to be good and the ENT that afternoon. Wyatt proudly carried his toy through Target.

Here is Wyatt with his awesome toy. Who could resist such cuteness! After a few more stores, we took our Chick-fil-a lunch back to Grammie & Papa's house (our heater went out this week & we were able to stay with them until it was fixed. Thank goodness!) That afternoon we went to see Dr. Goudy to follow up on his ear tubes that were placed last year. The tubes are still in place & Wyatt is doing excellent! Dr. Goudy could not believe how much Wyatt has grown. It does seem like a foot when you haven't seen him in awhile. I admit he is no longer our little toddler. He has definitely progressed into such a sweet preschooler! Wow!

Our evening ended with another night with Grammie & Papa so our house could heat back up from 46 degrees!!!! after the heater was fixed. Thank goodness they are so close and welcome us in when we are needing help!

Wyatt is continuing to take such good care of his teeth. Here are a few shots from the week after bathtime in his cute hooded lion towel brushing those pearly whites!

So glad I got to spend some special time with my little man! He is just a blast to be with and I love making those special memories with him!
