Kansas City Fun

The week after Christmas we traveled to Kansas City to visit with CiCi, Grumps, Uncle Jordan, Aunt Lindsey, Jacob and Nathan. Wyatt and Jacob are about 15 months apart in age, and we just knew they would have the best time playing together. Here are some pics from our fun week there.
The boys opening some presents.
Wyatt got Candyland and wanted to play. Notice after a few rounds, he was done, but Jacob was ready to play.
During our visit the big boys (Jordan, Matt & Nathan) started on a home improvement project. Jordan and Lindsey are expecting their second baby in July and plan on moving their upstairs office downstairs. The boys had fun cutting a huge opening in the wall to connect the new room. The little boys had fun watching.
Here is Jacob with his ear protection & drill to help out.
The boys had fun playing around. Here is Wyatt.
The snow from Christmas was still around during our visit, so it was a MUST to get out there with the boys and play!!!! Wyatt was all about the snow. Jacob. . . not so much. Wyatt enjoyed watching the big boys throwing snowballs at each other, and tried to get in on the action.

One afternoon we made the trip out to Cabela's. They have a fish tank which we checked out, as well as a shoot game, and tons of hunting gear to look at.
Wyatt picked out a toy gun. (gotta love our little hunter)
Our New Year's Eve was spent hanging out at the house just watching the little boys having a blast being little Monkey See, Monkey Doers. They were a hoot.
CiCi bought the boys little play shaving kits to be like their daddies. So cute!
For dinner, Jacob and Wyatt helped CiCi make little pizzas. They made sure the pizza's didn't burn by checking in on them cooking in the oven.
After dinner, it was time to break out the shaving kits and get a bath in. Here are those Monkey See, Monkey Do boys goofing around in the tub.
For a fun New Year's treat, CiCi made the boys s'mores. YUMMY!
Happy New Year's hugs before bedtime.

We had a blast seeing everyone and spending time hanging out. The little boys had such a blast together and were so cute to watch playing together. It is hard to believe that next year there will be two more little ones in the mix. The week was a great way to send out 2009 and start 2010. Happy New Years everyone!
