Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! (and ice too.)

This weekend we finally got some fun, fun snow. It started yesterday and snowed all day long. By the evening we were getting sleet which added an inch or so of ice on top of the 6 inches of snow. This morning we bundled up and headed out to play in all that white snow which Wyatt says is "Christmas". Too funny.

Well, this snow isn't meant for snowman building or snowball fighting. It is funky. It breaks like sheets of ice. Here is a video of Wyatt karate chopping the ice/snow.

We played outside for just a bit before heading back into the warm house. Here are a few (well, a lot) of pictures of our fun.

Trying to throw a "snowball" at Mommy. Turned out to be a bit dangerous, as it was like a dagger of ice.

Check out the sheet of ice/snow.

Quick baby update. . .
Well, I have had a long week of consistent contractions requiring me to spend my days on the sofa. BORING! Yesterday, I ventured out into the snow to see the doctor and see where we stand as far as preterm labor. So here is where we're at currently. I am about dilated to a one, no big deal at this point especially since this is my second baby. My fetal fibronectin test was negative. Yeah! So with pretty good accuracy we can say I won't go into labor in the next two weeks. (good thing since I am only 31 weeks along) For now I am on oral Terbutaline to help stop the contractions when they are getting to be consistent. Wow! My heart beats so fast when I take this stuff. Oh well. Whatever keeps Walker cookin' for a few more weeks. Walker has in fact turned into the head down position, so as long as he doesn't drop and engage we are good and I don't have to be on bedrest yet, just continue to be cautious. We shall see. . . I go back in two weeks.
