We have started into the month of May which means we have a lot going on with baseball wrapping up, end of school year activities, good ole life and me trying to wrap my head around going back to work at the end of the month. Whew! It's just enough to wear ya out or at least wear Lillian out. :)
Since I am going back to work in a few weeks, it became time to introduce the bottle. It is not going well at all, sadly. We are trying all sorts of ways to get her to take it and today we found she would only take it with freshly pumped breastmilk. We are praying Madeline will adjust without too many tears from us both.
Wyatt sure does love snuggling up Madeline. It's priceless.
Early in the week, Lillian and I worked on the letter E making elephants.
Walker had to have some more dental work finished up. He certainly was one relaxed puppy during his appointment.
Thursday I had all my thyroid cancer follow up appointments. I squeezed in some morning snuggles before we had to run around all day.
Lillian was excited to go play with the 8th graders at Daddy's school. Madeline was such a chilled girl as we went to my appointments and visited with my coworkers. I am grateful because I didn't get the all clear. Instead, there is a new spot on the right and now my labs are showing thyroid globulin has now become detectable. So I have to go back for more surveillance in Decemeber. Ugh.
At the end of the week, Lillian and I worked on the letter F by making flowers. These are perfect little decorations in time for Mother's Day.
Today we spent the day at Grammie and Papa's house for a Mother's Day lunch and play with Grammie, Papa, Grand, Uncle Earl and Donna. It was such a nice time.
I crafted some cute watermelon door decorations for both Grand and Grammie. They were a hit for sure.
The countdown is on for school to be out and me to go back to work. In the meantime we are savoring the time and enjoying precious moments with our Fab Four.
