Everyday living with a side of crazy

We have had another good and busy week with a side of crazy as always.  This sweet love is just so smiley and happy.
On Monday, both girls had their well checks.  They did great patiently waiting for the doctor and getting checked out.  Lillian was worn out on the way home but not too tired to let go of her lollipop.
Madeline got her first round of shots and was a bit more sleepy the rest of the day.  Of course, I was happy to snuggle her up!
Tuesday brought the crazy.  Walker woke up at 3a.m. and came downstairs bawling that there were squirrels in Wyatt's room.  Matt shot out of bed to go find the squirrels while I calmed Walker.  In doing so, I quickly realized he had fever of 102.  Combined with the benadryl I had given him before bed for his allergies he thought what was a stuffed animal on the floor was a squirrel.  Needless to say we went for a quick strep test once the doctor's office opened and he spent the day with us.  That afternoon we worked on the letter D project I had planned making ducks.
While I fed Madeline, the kids colored dragon pictures.  Walker kept saying "Thanks mom for keeping us busy coloring"  Lol!  Yep, you got that figured out.
This sweet girl has eaten more this week and slept more too.  I think a growth spurt is upon us.
Wednesday, my friend Rachel came over with her girls for a morning of play.  The girls had a blast while Rachel and I got to catch up.  Afterwards, Lillian crashed out.  I'd say that's a good sign of a great day.
Madeline continues to love playing on her playmats.
Thursday Matt had to go pick up Walker earlier from his field trip as he had gotten motion sick from the hour bus ride there.  After bringing him home, he took Lillian back up to school with him to catch up on things he missed.  She loved sitting at his desk and coloring.

Sweet kisses!
Friday, Lillian and I worked a little more on the letter D making dogs.  She is in love with her little paper bag doggie.
I got more cuddles in with this cutie while Lillian napped too.
Yesterday was the last Cub Scout campout of the year.  The boys had so much fun with water wars with over 600 water balloons to throw, s'more cones after dinner and a movie before bed.  A little rain didn't get them down.
I can't believe May is here!  This week is a dental appointment, my oncology surveillance and teaching Lillian the letters E & F, and of course soaking up more of Madeline!  Stay tuned.
