I can't believe it but Walker is one week old today! I have, as always, taken a ton of pictures and enjoying soaking up all his newborn sweetness! We are adjusting quite well to being a party of four. Wyatt asks where Walker is first thing when he wakes up and comes bounding in to see him & give him a gentle kiss after school. It is so sweet. Wyatt has also been indulged with a sweet treat from
Grammie twice now.
Grammie brought me lunch on Monday and brought Wyatt another yummy
easter egg cookie.
Wyatt showing off his cookie, which he wouldn't share even a nibble with me.

So far Walker is proving to be such a sweet baby who only cries when he is hungry and I'm not getting to him quick enough. He sleeps through my crazy boys loud noises which is nice. In the mornings Walker is quite bright eyed just checking out everything.
How precious is this face?!?!!!

Most of the time this is Walker. Gotta love the cuddles!

On Monday we received a package from
CiCi and the
KCK Hills filled with cute baby clothes for Walker and fun treats for Wyatt from Disney on Ice and a Dino exhibit. Wyatt loved the light toy that spins. Just have to be a bit careful of him trying to show it to Walker.

This weekend Matt bought a small cake to celebrate Walker's birth and welcome home. We love blowing candles out at our house, and Wyatt was all about it. He carefully carried the cake to Walker who was sleeping soundly in his swing. He then proceeded to sing him "Happy Birthday", and that, my friends, was TRULY priceless. Wyatt was so proud to be doing this for Walker. Love it!!

More of Walker's typical daily activities. Exciting, huh? Well, I happen to love watching him sleep. It is so precious to take in this miracle in my arms.

As I am one who loves to take photos of my boys, I set up a little area on our ottoman to get some shots of Walker in this cute
duckie outfit. Fortunately Walker was wide awake and I was able to catch some cute stretches along with those bright eyes of his.

Again, more of the
serene activities of a newborn. I know he still looks a little
pumpkinish, and he is still a bit jaundiced. I ventured out on my own Monday to take Walker to the doctor for a weight check and follow up on his
bilirubin level. He had gained 4 ounces in 2 days and his
bili level had started trending down. Good news! We follow up at the 2 week check up.

Our life has not changed too tremendously around our house. Wyatt is still very much into his
Wii. His new
fav game is the cycling game. He can really get those arms cycling pretty fast. Just a ball of energy he is. Walker was observing this feat from his bouncy seat. I think he's impressed?

More sweet, sweet sleep. Walker looks so content curled up next to me on the
boppy. He had just finished eating and was blissfully full.

We really are enjoying our family and feeling so very blessed with our laid back addition. We just pray that Walker continues to be a content
lil babe whose brother absolutely adores him!

Happy 1 week old Walker!! We all adore you!
