This weekend has brought spring weather (FINALLY!) and the nesting urge at it's highest too. We spent Saturday morning cleaning up and cleaning out. We found out we have had a little house guest for awhile now, so his house had to GO!!!! So, out with the sofa we have been ready to get rid of for awhile now and on to a new living/playroom! Wyatt is loving the extra floor space and having better accessibility to his toyshelves. We are planning on getting something new, but currently are in no big rush. Just trying to find something that captures us and is super comfortable.
For the waiting, well, we are just waiting now. This last month of pregnancy seems to be just that, a waiting game. We are so ready to meet our new addition. Wyatt keeps asking "when's that baby coming outta there?!" and we are thinking the same. I'm 36 weeks along, no changes in dilation since last week. I am having a lot more consistent contractions that will last about 2-3 hours coming every 6-7 minutes and lasting about 1-1 1/2 minutes, but they just don't stick around long enough to spur a trip to the hospital. Baby is not really engaged. He likes to ride low for long periods of time, but he is still able to back himself up into my ribs and give me some wowzer heartburn. Ugh. So we will continue to wait. We'll wait and see what this next week shall bring. We'll wait and see if contractions get regular, increase and stick around. We'll wait and see if my water breaks. We'll just keep waiting. In the meantime, we will enjoy the remaining days as a family of 3. We will enjoy the spring weather. We will enjoy our clean house. We will enjoy quite nights, even if I'm not sleeping. We will enjoy knowing baby Walker is getting stronger lungs, bigger in size and stronger each day he stays in. We will enjoy watching Wyatt's facial expressions as he watches my belly dance and change shape as Walker stretches and kicks. We will keep ya posted!
Here is the belly shot compared to two weeks ago. Just looking and feeling like one BIG belly!
